Amigurumi class

I went to Twisted Yarn Crafts in Portland this morning to sign up for a beginning crochet class. I thought this would be the smartest way to work my way into their Amigurumi class. However, they are not teaching crochet and encouraged me to teach myself since the only thing I really need to know is single crochet in the round to do Amigurumi. So I signed up for the Amigurumi class, bought 2 Amigurumi books and one beginning crochet book, Stitch and Bitch, The Happy Hooker, and I'm off to look for some You Tube crochet instruction videos. I have 3 weeks to learn crochet before the class begins!
